Extension Housing Seal - V6 S/C 3.0L Petrol/V8 5.0L Petrol/V8 S/C 5.0L Petrol (G1571598): Installation

  1. CAUTION:
    • Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.
    • Install a new seal.

    Special Tool(s):  307-520, JLR-307-520-01

  3. WARNING: Make sure that a new nut is installed.

    Torque Specification: 60 Nm 

  4. NOTE: Make sure that you re-align the driveshaft to the transmission flange using the alignment mark.

  5. CAUTION: Make sure that new bolts are installed.

    Torque Specification: 75 Nm 

  6. Refer to TRANSMISSION SUPPORT INSULATOR - V6 3.0L PETROL/V6 S/C 3.0L PETROL/V8 5.0L PETROL/V8 S/C 5.0L PETROL (G1271945)  (Installation).
