Timing Cover (G1550168): Removal

  1. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect (General Procedures).
  2. WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

    Raise and support the vehicle.

  3. Refer to: Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor (Removal and Installation).
  4. Refer to: Crankshaft Pulley  (Removal and Installation).

    Torque Specification: 24 Nm

    Torque Specification: 25 Nm 

  8. NOTE: Using a suitable bar lock the coolant pump pulley.
