Engine Mount LH (G1550157): Removal

All vehicles

WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

Raise and support the vehicle.
Refer to: Air Deflector (Front End Body Panels, Removal and Installation).
NOTE: Loosen but do not fully remove.
Lower vehicle to a convenient height.

Left-hand drive vehicles

Lower the vehicle.
Refer to: Engine Cover - GTDi 2.0L Petrol (Removal and Installation).
Refer to: Air Cleaner (Removal and Installation).
- Special Tool(s): JLR-303-1591
- Torque Specification: 48 Nm
Install the engine support.

Special Tool(s): 303-021
NOTE: Remove and discard the nut.
Raise the left side of the engine by approximately 40 mm.
Raise the vehicle.
NOTE: Remove and discard the nut.

Left-hand drive vehicles

NOTE:
- Note the position of the components prior to removal.
- Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.

Right-hand drive vehicles

NOTE:
- Note the position of the components prior to removal.
- Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.
