PINPOINT TEST C: Thermostat Tests

  1. C1: THERMOSTAT TEST 1 
    1. Remove the thermostat
    2. Note the opening temperature of the thermostat
    3. Immerse the thermostat in water
    4. Heat the water until the opening temperature is reached
    5. Check the operation of the thermostat

      Does the thermostat operate correctly?

      • Yes  : Check for correct operation of cooling fans, circuits, sensors, modules, etc
      • No  : Install a new thermostat
