Engine Control Module (G1568893): Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

    Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect (Battery, Mounting and Cables, General Procedures).

  2. Refer to: Cowl Vent Screen (Front End Body Panels, Removal and Installation).
  3. NOTE: Right-hand shown, left-hand similar.

  4. CAUTION: Before disconnecting or removing components, ensure the area around the joint faces and connections are clean. Plug open connections to prevent contamination.

    Torque Specification: 7 Nm
