Front Muffler (G1569058): Removal

All vehicles 

  1. WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

    Raise and support the vehicle.

  2. NOTE: The procedure must be carried out on both sides.

    Refer to: Rear Muffler (Exhaust System - GTDi 2.0L Petrol, Removal and Installation).

    2WD vehicles

    Torque Specification  : 6 Nm 

4WD vehicles 

  1. G11423980

    Torque Specification  : 6 Nm 

    All vehicles 

  1. G11423981

    Torque Specification  : 55 Nm

  3. CAUTION: Do not carry out this step if a new exhaust is to be installed.

    Remove the retaining clamps using a suitable tool.
