Fuel Tank And Lines - Overview (G1604704): Overview

The fuel system is divided into 2 sub systems:
- Low pressure system
- High pressure system.
The low pressure system features the following components:
- Fuel tank
- Fuel pump delivery module in tank
The low pressure system pressure is 4.5 bar (65.3 lbf/in2 ) and the pressure in the high pressure system is up to 150 bar (2176 lbf/in2 ). The high pressure system is described in Fuel and Charging Controls Refer to Fuel Charging and Controls (Description and Operation).
