Parking Aid Module: Removal

NOTE: The park control module is situated in the LH footwell and does not change position with the hand of drive.
  1. Remove the cover and disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to Specifications information.
  2. LH side: Remove the cowl side trim panel.
    • Remove the Torx screw.
    • Remove the hood release lever.
    • Release the forward edge of the scuff plate trim panel.
    • Carefully release the clips.

    3. CAUTION: Make sure the wiring harness and electrical connectors are not damaged during the carpet release.
  3. Carefully release the carpet for access.
    • Carefully release the forward edge of the floor console side trim panel.

  4. Release the subwoofer cover.
    • Remove the 4 bolts.
    • Position aside.

  5. Remove the parking aid module.
    • Position the acoustic pad aside.
    • Release 2 electrical harness clips from the body and position aside.
    • Remove the 2 nuts.
    • Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors.
