Starter Motor: Removal

  1. Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT information.
    2. WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle.
  3. Refer to Air Deflector information.
  4. Torque: 6 Nm

    5. CAUTION: Make sure that the protective cover is correctly installed over the electrical connector.
  5. Torque: 12 Nm
    GJ0025310
    6. CAUTION: Make sure that the protective cover is correctly installed over the electrical connector.
  6. Torque: 12 Nm
    GJ0023322
    7. NOTE: The upper bolt will remain captive.
  7. Torque: 48 Nm
