Tie Rod End: Removal

    WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.
  1. Raise and support the vehicle.
    2. NOTE: RHD illustration shown, LHD is similar.
  2. Torque: 55 Nm

    3. CAUTION: This step is to allow correct tool alignment to the tie rod end.
  3. Refer to Brake Pads - Vehicles With: Standard Brakes and Brake Pads - Vehicles With: High Performance Brakes article.
    4. CAUTION: Make sure that the ball joint ball does not rotate.
    NOTE: RHD illustration shown, LHD is similar.
  4. Torque: 133 Nm
