Brake Booster

The brake booster gives a boost ratio of 6.2 : 1 to the effort applied to the brake pedal. The brake booster is attached to the driver side of the engine compartment bulkhead with a gasket, and four studs and nuts.

The input push rod within the brake booster is connected to the brake pedal. The output rod locates in the primary piston of the brake master cylinder. Refer to Hydraulic Brake Actuation information.
