Subwoofer Speaker: Removal

  1. Remove the instrument panel assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel information.
  2. Remove the heater duct.
    • Remove the 2 Torx screws.
    • Release the lampholder.

    3. CAUTION: Make sure the wiring harness and electrical connectors are not damaged during the carpet release.
  3. Carefully release the carpet for access.
  4. Remove the subwoofer cover.
    • Remove the 4 bolts.

    5. NOTE: Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.
  5. Remove the subwoofer.
    • Remove the 4 screws.
    • Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors.

  6. Remove the amplifier.
    • Remove the 4 Torx screws.

  7. Release the subwoofer speaker housing
    • Remove the 2 nuts.
    • Remove the 2 bolts.
    • Remove both speaker housing support brackets.

    8. CAUTION: Cover fibre optic cable connectors to minimize dust ingress and avoid bending the cables in a radius of less than 30 mm.
  8. Remove the subwoofer speaker housing.
    • Carefully disconnect the MOST connector.
    • Disconnect the 3 electrical connectors.
