Air Conditioning (A/C) Compressor (V8 5.0L Petrol/V8 S/C 5.0L Petrol): Removal

  1. Refer to Battery Disconnect and Connect information.
    2. WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle.
  3. Refer to Air Conditioning (A/C) System Recovery, Evacuation and Charging information.
  4. See figure.

  5. Torque: 8 Nm.

    6. CAUTION: Immediately cap all refrigerant lines to prevent ingress of dirt and moisture.
    CAUTION: Make sure that all openings are sealed. Use new blanking caps.
  6. Torque: 9 Nm.
