Removal And Installation: Hood: Removal

  1. With assistance, remove the hood.
    • Release the clips and disconnect the struts.
    • Remove the 8 nuts.

    2. NOTE: Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.
  2. Remove the hood seal end caps.
    • Release from the 4 clips.
  3. Remove the hood seal.
    • Release the hood seal.
    • Remove the 17 clips.

  4. Remove the hood pad.
    • Remove the 23 clips.

  5. Remove the 2 secondary hood pads.
    • Remove the 4 clips.
