Pedestrian Protection Hood Actuator LH: Installation

  1. Install the pedestrian protection actuator.
    • Tighten the new Torx bolts to 8 Nm (6 lb.ft).
  2. Install the pedestrian protection actuator and bracket.
    • Connect the electrical connector.
  3. Secure the pedestrian protection actuator bracket.
    • Attach the wiring harness clips.
    • Tighten the bolts to 8 Nm (6 lb.ft).
  4. Position and install the power distribution box.
    • Tighten the Torx bolts to 8 Nm (6 lb.ft).
  5. Install the pollen filter. Refer to Pollen Filter information.
