Anti-Theft Alarm Horn: Removal

  1. Make the pedestrian protection system safe. Refer to Pedestrian Protection System Depowering and Repowering or Pedestrian Protection System Depowering and Repowering information.
  2. Remove the air intake cover.
    • Remove the 3 clips.

  3. Release the pedestrian protection actuator bracket.
    • Release the 3 wiring harness clips.
    • Remove the 4 bolts.
  4. Remove the pedestrian protection actuator and bracket.
    • Disconnect the electrical connector.

  5. Remove the anti-theft alarm horn.
    • Loosen but do not remove the 2 nuts.
    • Disconnect the electrical connector.
