Fender Splash Shield: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
    2. WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle.
  3. Remove the LH front wheel and tire. Refer to Wheel and Tire information.
  4. Remove the fender splash shield, rear section.
    • Remove the 6 Torx bolts.
    • Remove the clip.
    • Remove the 2 nuts.

  5. Remove the fender splash shield, front section.
    • Remove the 13 Torx bolts.
