Front Safety Belt Retractor: Removal

  1. Make the SRS system safe. Refer to Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Depowering and Repowering information.
  2. Remove the rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel - 2-Door and Rear Quarter Trim Panel - Vehicles With: Convertible Top information.
  3. Remove the safety belt retractor assembly.
    • Disconnect the electrical connector.
    • Remove and discard the Torx bolt.
