Front Safety Belt Buckle: Removal

  1. Remove the cover and disconnect the battery ground cable.
  2. Make the SRS system safe. Refer to Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Depowering and Repowering information.
  3. Remove the front seat. Refer to Front Seat information.
  4. Release the front seat backrest cover lower tension straps.

  5. Remove the front seat safety belt pretensioner.
    • Remove and discard the Torx bolt.
    • Release and disconnect the electrical connector.
