- Remove the torque converter retainer.
- Torque: 45 Nm
- Torque: 45 Nm
- Remove the support.
- Torque: 127 Nm
- Make sure that the alignment mark is visible through the inspection hole on installation of the first torque converter bolt.
- Torque: 45 Nm

- Remove the special tool supporting the engine.
- Special Tool(s): Engine Lifting Bracket Front (303-1436)

CAUTION:
Make sure that the torque converter remains in the transmission.
NOTE:
This step requires the aid of another technician.

Only rotate the crankshaft clockwise.
