Brake Pads - Vehicles With: High Performance Brakes (G1451635): Removal

WARNING: Brake pads must be renewed in axle sets only, otherwise braking efficiency may be impaired.
NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

    Raise and support the vehicle.

  2. Refer to: Wheel and Tire (Removal and Installation).

    Torque Specification: 10 Nm

  6. WARNING: If the brake caliper piston seal is damaged a new brake caliper must be installed.
    CAUTION: Do not allow the brake caliper to hang on the brake hose.
