- Refer to the appropriate electrical circuit wiring diagrams and check the power and ground connections to the pedestrian protection module
- Using the manufacturer approved diagnostic system, complete a CAN network integrity test. Refer to the appropriate electrical circuit wiring diagrams and check the CAN network between the pedestrian protection module and the instrument cluster
- Check the pedestrian protection module for related diagnostic trouble codes and refer to the relevant diagnostic trouble code index
