- Refer to the appropriate electrical circuit wiring diagrams and check the power and ground connections to the start control unit and the instrument cluster
- Refer to the appropriate electrical circuit wiring diagrams and check the LIN network between the start control unit and instrument cluster. Clear diagnostic trouble code and retest
- Confirm correct key operation
- Re-run key programming
