DTC B1A68-86: Ambient Temperature Sensor - Signal invalid: Action
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear the DTCs and retest. If the DTC persists, and audio display is lost, install a new instrument cluster If the DTC persists, audio display is not lost and the customer has complained of reduced backlight, install a new instrument cluster
- If the DTC persists, audio display is not lost and the customer has not complained of reduced backlight, do not install a new instrument cluster - Ambient temperatures of the country/area the vehicle operates in may not cause the customer operational issues
- If a new instrument cluster is installed, carry out VIN Learn Diagnostic Routine, write odometer reading from old instrument cluster into Odometer PID
