Fuel Tank Filler Pipe: Removal

  1. Refer to HEALTH AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS information.
  2. Open the fuel filler door and remove the cap.
    3. WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.
  3. Raise and support the vehicle.
  4. Refer to FUEL TANK DRAINING - GTDI 2.0L PETROL/V6 S/C 3.0L PETROL/V8 S/C 5.0L PETROL (G1605184) information.
  5. Remove the right-hand wheel and tire. Refer to WHEELS AND TIRES information.
  6. Remove the right-hand wheel arch liner.
