Radiator (G1773691): Removal

  1. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect (Battery, Mounting and Cables, General Procedures).
  2. WARNING:
    • Since injury such as scalding could be caused by escaping steam or coolant, do not remove the filler cap from the coolant expansion tank while the system is hot.
    • Be prepared to catch escaping fluid.

    Refer to: Cooling System Partial Draining, Filling and Bleeding  (V6 S/C 3.0L Petrol, General Procedures).

  3. Refer to: Cooling Fan Motor and Shroud  (V6 S/C 3.0L Petrol, Removal and Installation).
  4. CAUTION: Be prepared to collect escaping coolant.

    Torque Specification: 7 Nm 

  9. NOTE: Support the air conditioning (A/C) condenser.
