If an obvious cause for an observed or reported condition is found, correct the cause (if possible) before proceeding to the next step
If the fault is not visually evident, verify the symptom and refer to the following Symptom Chart

NOTE:

Residual oil left over from the damper assembly process may create oil staining on the damper tube. This will not affect the function of the damper.
Slight seepage is considered normal.
