Removal And Installation: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

All vehicles 

  1. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect
  2. WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.

    Raise and support the vehicle.

  3. Refer to: Air Deflector - 5.0L

    All vehicles 

  4. CAUTION: Support the engine on a jack. The angle may need to be adjusted during this procedure.

    Support the engine with the lifting equipment.

    Right-hand drive vehicles

  6. NOTE: Note the fitted position.

    Torque Specification: 35 Nm 

  7. G11508007

    Torque Specification: 100 Nm 

    All vehicles 

  8. G11508008

    Torque Specification: 10 Nm 

  9. G11508009

    Torque Specification: 63 Nm 

  10. G11508010

    Torque Specification: 48 Nm 

  11. NOTE: Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.
