Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

    For additional information, refer to: BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT (Battery, Mounting and Cables, General Procedures).

  2. Remove the RH rear quarter trim panel.

    For additional information, refer to: Rear Quarter Trim Panel - 2-Door (Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

  3. NOTE: If equipped.

    Remove the Hydraulic Pump Assembly.

    For additional information, refer to: Convertible Top Motor (Convertible Top, Removal and Installation).

  4. G11516442

    Disconnect the wiring harness electrical connectors.

  5. G11516443
    • Remove the drain tube.
    • Remove the bolt from the earth strap.
  6. G11516444
    1. Remove the 2 bolts from the Antenna mounting bracket.
    2. Remove the nut from the top of the Antenna.
  7. G11516445
    • Release the Antenna from the fender before removing from the vehicle.
