Overview- AWD: Notes

The double wishbone type rear suspension is a fully independent design assembled on a steel subframe. Large diameter bushes isolate the subframe from the vehicle's body.

Toe links, installed between the wheel knuckles and the subframe, are used to adjust the toe angle of the rear wheels.

The wheel knuckles are attached to the upper and lower control arms. Air spring and shock absorber assembly is located between each lower control arm and the vehicle body.

The spring and shock absorber assemblies incorporate air springs controlled by the air suspension system.
