Shock Absorber And Spring Assembly - SPORTBRAKE, Vehicles With: RS Body Style (G1774411): Removal

  1. Refer to: Loadspace Left Trim Panel - Sportbrake (Removal and Installation).

    Refer to: Loadspace Right Trim Panel - Sportbrake (Removal and Installation).

  2. NOTE: Vehicles with active damping.

    Torque Specification: 28 Nm 

  4. Refer to: Wheel and Tire (Removal and Installation).
  5. G11589843

    Torque Specification: 63 Nm 

  6. NOTE:
    • Note the fitted position of the component prior to removal.
    • Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.

    Torque Specification: 133 Nm 

  7. WARNING: Make sure the shock absorber is secured by fully inserting the locking pin in to the special tool. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.
    CAUTION: Make sure that a new nut is installed.

    Torque Specification: 

    Vehicles with active damping 27 Nm 

    Vehicles without active damping 50 Nm
