Fuel Rail High-Pressure Fuel Pump Supply Line (G1589060): Removal

NOTE:

Depressurize the fuel system.
Refer to: Fuel System Pressure Release - V6 S/C 3.0L Petrol/V8 N/A 5.0L Petrol/V8 S/C 5.0L Petrol (General Information, General Procedures).
Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect (Battery, Mounting and Cables, General Procedures).
WARNING: Do not smoke or carry lighted tobacco or open flame of any type when working on or near any fuel related components. Highly flammable mixtures are always present and may ignite. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.
CAUTION:
- Be prepared to collect escaping fuel.
- Make sure that all openings are sealed. Use new blanking caps.
WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

Raise and support the vehicle.

- Make sure that all openings are sealed. Use new blanking caps.
Lower the vehicle.
Install the special tool.
CAUTION: Discard the fuel pipe.

NOTE: This step requires the aid of another technician.

With the aid of another technician remove the low pressure fuel pipe as indicated.
