Front SUBFRAME - AWD (G1574201): Removal
NOTE:
- Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
- Some variation in the illustrations may occur, but the essential information is always correct.
- Disconnect the battery ground cable.
Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect (General Procedures).
- Refer to: Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe T-Connector (Removal and Installation).

NOTE: Secure with cable ties.
Secure the radiator assembly.
- Refer to: Secondary Bulkhead Right Panel - TDV6 3.0L Diesel/V6 S/C 3.0L Petrol/V8 S/C 5.0L Petrol (Removal and Installation).

WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.
Raise and support the vehicle.
- Refer to: Front Left Halfshaft (Removal and Installation).
- Refer to: Front Right Halfshaft (Removal and Installation).
- Refer to: Radiator Splash Shield (Removal and Installation).
- Refer to: Air Deflector (Removal and Installation).

NOTE: Repeat the procedure for the other side.

NOTE: Note the fitted position of each bolt, mark the washers and sub-frame before removal to aid assembly.

CAUTION: When lowering the special tool care must be taken to manoeuvre the special tool so that the front subframe does not touch the air conditioning (A/C) pipes. Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the A/C pipes.

NOTE: Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.
