Thermostat Housing (G1085730): Removal

  1. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect (Battery, Mounting and Cables, General Procedures).
  2. WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

    Raise and support the vehicle.

  3. Refer to: Cooling System Draining And Vacuum Filling (G1189634)  (Engine Cooling - V8 N/A 5.0L Petrol/V8 S/C 5.0L Petrol, General Procedures).
  4. Refer to: Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe T-Connector (Intake Air Distribution and Filtering - V8 N/A 5.0L Petrol/V8 S/C 5.0L Petrol, Removal and Installation).
