Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.

    Raise and support the vehicle.

  2. NOTE: RHD illustration shown, LHD is similar.

    Torque Specification  : 55 Nm 

  3. CAUTION: This step is to allow correct tool alignment to the tie rod end.

    Refer to: BRAKE PADS - VEHICLES WITH: STANDARD BRAKES (Removal and Installation).

    Refer to: BRAKE PADS - VEHICLES WITH: HIGH PERFORMANCE BRAKES (Removal and Installation).

  4. CAUTION: Make sure that the ball joint ball does not rotate.
    NOTE: RHD illustration shown, LHD is similar.

    Torque Specification  : 133 Nm 

  5. CAUTION: Make sure that these components are installed to the noted removal position.
