Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.

    Raise and support the vehicle.

  2. Remove the tie-rod end. For additional information,

    Refer to: TIE ROD END  (Removal and Installation)

  3. NOTE: Note the fitted position.

    Remove the locknut.

  4. NOTE: Clean the components general area prior to dismantling.

Remove the steering gear boot.
