Removal And Installation: Removal

WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.

Raise and support the vehicle.
Remove the rear subframe assembly.

NOTE: LH illustration shown, RH is similar.

Disconnect the LH rear ABS sensor.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Release the 2 clips.
- Carefully tie the harness aside.
- Repeat the above procedure for the other side.
Disconnect the electronic parking brake actuator electrical connector.
- Release the electrical connector.
Remove the headlamp leveling sensor link.

NOTE:

Use an additional wrench to prevent the component from rotating.
LH illustration shown, RH is similar.

Release both stabilizer bar links.
- Remove the bump stops.
- Remove and discard the 2 nuts.
Remove the stabilizer bar bushings.
- Release the bushings.
With assistance, remove the rear stabilizer bar.
- Raise the suspension arms, to release the bar.
