DTC C1A95-64: Wheel Speed Sensor - Signal plausibility failure: Action
WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 12 other vehicles, including the 2015 Jaguar XKR-S, 2015 Jaguar XKR, 2015 Jaguar XK, 2014 Jaguar XKR-S, and 2014 Jaguar XKR. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE:
This DTC could be set by a flat tire which would give a continuous different rate of speed when compared to other 3 wheels, if this is the case the DTC should be stored as a historic DTC
- Check that approved wheels and tires are installed. Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the wheel speed sensor circuits for intermittent short to power, or ground. Check the wheel speed sensors and pulse wheels for contamination/damage or demagnetization. Clear the DTC and retest the vehicle. If the fault remains check the wheel speed sensor circuits for possible EMC interference. Examine the output from the sensors using an oscilloscope to identify inconsistent patterns or spikes. Repair wiring harness or replace wheel speed sensors or wheel bearings as required. Refer to the Warranty Policy and Procedures manual if a module/component is suspect
