Removal And Installation: Removal

- Make the SRS system safe.

- Remove the front seat.

Remove the front seat head restraint.
- Depress the 2 clips.
Remove the front seat head restraint guide tubes.
- Release from the seat frame.
Remove the front seat backrest tilt handle.
- Remove the screw.
Remove the front seat backrest tilt handle trim panel.
- Remove the 2 Torx screws.
Release the front seat backrest cover lower tension straps.
- Release from the seat frame.
Release the 9 front seat backrest cover rear panel retaining clips.
- Release from the backrest cover.
- Release from the seat frame.
- Release the 5 front seat backrest cover lower retaining clips.
- Release from the seat frame.
Release the front seat backrest cover central tension straps.
- Release from the seat frame.
Remove the side air bag module.
- Remove and discard the 2 nuts.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Release the backrest cover.
Release the front seat backrest cover upper tension straps.
- Release from the seat frame.
- Withdraw from the backrest pad.
Remove the front seat backrest cover.
- Remove the 16 hog rings.
