DTC P1571-64: Brake Switch - Signal plausibility failure: Action

The signal from the hardwired brake pedal switch does not agree with the brake status message broadcast on CAN. Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the brake pedal switch circuits for short circuit or open circuit. Repair wiring harness as required
If there are no wiring harness faults suspect switch. Refer to the warranty policy and procedures manual, or determine if any prior approval program is in operation, prior to the installation of a new module/component
