Adaptive Speed Control Radar Sensor

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 12 other vehicles, including the 2015 Jaguar XKR-S, 2015 Jaguar XKR, 2015 Jaguar XK, 2014 Jaguar XKR-S, and 2014 Jaguar XKR. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The Adaptive Speed Control Radar Sensor Is Located Centrally Behind The Front Bumper Cover. The Sensor Is Connected To The Ecm Via The High Speed Can Bus.

If The Unit Is Replaced In Service, It Must Be Mechanically Adjusted For Vertical Alignment. Horizontal Alignment Is Achieved By Putting The Sensor In Service Mode With A Jaguar Approved Diagnostic System. The Vehicle Must Then Be Driven For A Short Period While The Sensor Calibrates Itself. Calibration Is Complete When The Follow Mode Warning Indicator In The Instrument Cluster Stops Flashing.
