Steering Column

The steering column features an 'Easy Entry Exit' function (if enabled). This function automatically raises the steering column to the upper tilt axis as soon as the driver door is opened. When the 'Exit' movement is complete the previous column tilt position is automatically restored when the ignition is switched on, or when the ignition is set to CRANK.

If the 'Easy Entry Exit' feature fails to function, activate the function as follows:

Rotate the steering column adjust switch to the AUTO position.
The instrument cluster will now display 'Column Adjust Auto' in the message center.
