Convertible Top - Control Switch

To open:

  1. Make sure the ignition is switched on.
  2. Press and hold the rear of the overhead console switch. Do not release the switch until convertible top is fully open. Make sure the rear quarter and side windows fully open and an audible warning is sounded as the convertible top is unlatched. The convertible top will now begin to move.
  3. Make sure that when the convertible top is fully open the audible warning is sounded again.
  4. Release overhead console switch. Check the tonneau panel is deployed and encloses the convertible top.
  5. Switch off the ignition.

To close:

  1. Make sure the ignition is switched on.
  2. Press and hold the front of the overhead console switch. Do not release the switch until the convertible top is fully closed and latched, and the rear quarter and side windows are fully closed.
  3. Listen for an audible warning to be sounded as the convertible top begins to move.
  4. Make sure that the audible warning is sounded again when the convertible top is fully closed and latched. Check also that the rear quarter and side windows are fully closed.
  5. Switch off the ignition.
