Convertible Top - Central Position

Remove the transportation cover as follows:

Make sure the ignition is switched on.
Press and hold the rear of the overhead console switch until the convertible top moves and is in the central position with the tonneau panel still closed and latched. Release the switch when the convertible top is in the central position.
Make sure the cover does not catch on the carrier mechanism and carefully remove the transportation cover from the convertible top.
Close the convertible top. Press and hold the front of the overhead console switch. Do not release the switch until the convertible top is fully closed and latched, and the rear quarter and side windows are fully closed.
Make sure that the audible warning is sounded again when the convertible top is fully closed and latched. Check also that the rear quarter and side windows are fully closed.
Switch off the ignition.

NOTE: The side windows will fully open and an audible warning will sound as the convertible top is unlatched.
