Check and Top-Up Procedure

  1. Remove the brake reservoir cover. Check that the fluid in the reservoir is level with the 'MAX  ' mark.
  2. If the fluid level is below the 'MAX'  mark, clean the area around the cap and reservoir neck thoroughly with lint free cloth.
  3. Remove the reservoir cap and fill the reservoir to the 'MAX'  mark with brake fluid to specification Shell ESL DOT4.
  4. Install the reservoir cap and hand-tighten. Clean up all spilled fluid.
  5. Install the brake reservoir cover.
