Transmission Fluid Cooler Tubes: Installation

- Install the transmission fluid cooler tubes.
- Install the transmission fluid cooler tubes.
- Attach the transmission fluid cooler tubes to the retaining bracket.
- Attach the transmission fluid cooler tubes to the retaining bracket.
- Install the splash shield.
- Install the retaining bracket.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Remove the special tool.
- Install the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER - V8 S/C 5.0L PETROL (G1090386) information.
- Raise and support the vehicle.
- Install the left-hand engine mounting retaining nut.
- Install the retaining bracket.
- Install the left-hand catalytic converter heat shield retaining bracket.
- Install the left-hand catalytic converter heat shield.
- Install the retaining nut.
- Detach the steering gear.
- Install the steering gear.
- Make sure the alignment mark, on the steering gear pinion seal protection cover, is central to the steering gear pinion casting.
- Attach the lower steering column.
- Attach the hose.
- Attach the wiring harness.
- Carry out a transmission fluid level check. Refer to Transmission Fluid Level Check information.
- Install the air deflector. Refer to AIR DEFLECTOR (G1569045) information.
- Lower the vehicle.

Remove and discard the blanking caps.
