Fuel Pressure Sensor - Low Pressure (LP) Fuel System

The LP fuel system - fuel pressure sensor supplies a pressure signal to the ECM to enable closed loop control of the fuel pump. The LP fuel system - fuel pressure sensor is installed in a manifold in the fuel delivery line.
The manifold is attached to a bracket which is located above the fuel pump module flange, on the right side of the fuel tank. The manifold has three connections; one is unused and blanked, the second receives the fuel supply from the fuel lift pump and the third directs the fuel from the lift pump to the fuel delivery line to the engine. The sensor is located in the manifold and measures the fuel pressure being supplied from the lift pump before its delivered to the engine.
