Left Camshaft Position Sensor (G1550187): Installation

  1. CAUTION: Make sure that the sensor tip is clean and free of foreign material.
    NOTE: Lubricate the O-ring seal with clean engine oil.

    • Install the Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor.
    • Install the CMP sensor retaining bolt.

      Torque Specification: 10 Nm 

    • Connect the electrical connector.
  2. Install the electronic thermostat.

    Refer to: ELECTRIC THERMOSTAT (G1772758) (V6 S/C 3.0L Petrol, Removal and Installation).
