Air Conditioning Compressor - V8 S/C 5.0L Petrol: Removal

  1. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect (General Procedures).
  2. WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

    Raise and support the vehicle.

  3. Refer to: Wheel and Tire (Removal and Installation).
  4. Refer to: Air Conditioning System Recovery, Evacuation and Charging (General Procedures).
  5. Refer to: Specifications (Specifications).
  6. Refer to: Refrigerant Oil Adding (General Procedures).

  8. CAUTION:
    • Immediately cap all refrigerant lines to prevent ingress of dirt and moisture.
    • Make sure that all openings are sealed. Use new blanking caps.

    Torque Specification: 9 Nm

    • Take care not to damage the O-ring seals during installation.
