Front Vertical Accelerometer (86.56.53): Removal

  1. Remove the wheel and tire assemble. Refer to WHEELS & TIRES .
  2. Remove the right-hand side front fender splash shield. Refer to FRONT END BODY PANELS (2003.5-09) .
  3. Disconnect the front vertical accelerometer electrical connector.

    4. CAUTION: Make sure the vertical accelerometer is not dropped in transit as damage will be caused to internal components.

  4. Remove the front vertical accelerometer.
